We’ll be temporarily disabling the Guild Wars 2 API this Sunday to avoid classified #GW2EOD information escaping from the vault of forbidden spoilers. 🤐🐲 We’ll turn it back on shortly after launch. Remember to tag your End of Dragons spoilers, and we’ll see you in Cantha!

Because of this Aleeva will not be able to load data from the Guild Wars 2 API. Everything related to the Guild Wars 2 API will no be accessible.
This includes: Commands, Guild Rank Mapping, WvW Verification, Member Verification, Daily notifications & WvW population notifications.

Do I need to disable role mapping?

No as Aleeva will not process any role mappings. Members which have roles assigned based on an active mapping, will keep the roles. New members will not be able to get a role on the other-hand. You can assign the roles manually but they will lose them if the are not eligible after the Guild Wars 2 API is back online.

Do I need to disable member verification?

No as Aleeva will skip the Member Verification for users which select Guild Member or WvW Main/Linked World member. The user will get the following message:

Will I be able to change personal and server settings related to Guild Wars 2?

No this is not possible as Aleeva can’t verify the provided data against the Guild Wars 2 API.
